Irish coffee dessert
Source : Taste of Cold Sweet Temptations.
Filling:
A:
1/2 tsp instant coffee powder mixed with 1/2 tsp hot water
1/2 tsp mocha emulco
B:
200 g cream cheese
100 g sweetened condensed milk
C:
100 g whipped cream
Coffee Syrup
1 tbsp nescafe
200 ml hot water
1 tbs sugar
10 sponge fingers cut into half
Method:
1. Filling : Combine all ingredients A and set aside.
Beat cream cheese until creamy. Add in sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth.
Add in A,C & mix well.
2. Soak sponge fingers into the coffee syrup and arrange into the prepared cups.
3. Spoon cream cheese filing into a piping bag and pipe onto the sponge fingers.
4. Chill in a fridge until set.(3-4 hrs)
Yield: 10 cups
Modification:
I used gelatine ( 1/2 tbsp gelatine dissolved in 30 ml water & melted by double-boiling) after step no. 1.
sprinkle some grated chocolate between layer of sponge finger & cheese
some chocolate chips for decoration.
Quaker-oat pedas
Hidangan kegemaran ku terutama bila tak de selera & tekak rasa tak selesa.......
Resepinya tiada sukatan main agak-agak je.
Bahan:
sedikit jintan putih
sedikit lada hitam
3 ulas bawang putih
daging hancur
2 biji tomato - didadukan
tomato puree / cream of tomato soup.
Cara:
1. Jintan putih , lada & bawang putih ditumbuk halus.
2. Masukkan sedikit minyak & tumis bahan tumbuk, setelah garing masukkan daging
3. Masukkan air, tomato buah & tomato puree.
4. Tunggu sehingga mendidih masukkan garam & oat.
5. Kacau seketika. Angkat & terus hidang.
Nota:
sedap dimakan ketika masih panas. kuantiti air bergantung kepada oat yg digunakan... juga bergantung pada tahap kecairan yang digemari.
Hidangan ni kaya dengan serat & vitamin C sesuai juga untuk orang yang mengamalkan diet.
